Congratulations to Jessica and Michael! Their intimate Satsuma wedding day was so laid back and just the perfect celebration for this sweet couple! We met Jessica and Michael through our friend Sarah Hoeb at Midtown Living, and we’re SO happy they asked to capture their wedding day for them. With a romantic first look, a waterfront ceremony, and an intimate reception, their day was a sweet celebration to start the newest chapter of their lives. We love being able to document these special moments for our couples!
An Intimate Satsuma Wedding
With everything going on, Michael and Jessica decided to tie the knot in an intimate waterfront ceremony at the Steel Creek Lodge, in Satsuma AL. Their ceremony and reception were small, with only their closest family and friends there to celebrate. But, it was absolutely wonderful. They worked so hard to plan their wedding day, putting everything together themselves. And it came together beautifully! Even the weather wound up cooperating with them! Although it rained in the morning, it helped to cool down the unusually warm November day we had. As a result, we had the most gorgeous golden light during their ceremony, too! What more could you ask for?!
Jessica and Michael chose to do a first look before their ceremony. Michael’s reaction to seeing Jessica in her gorgeous gown was the sweetest!! It’s obvious how much these two love each other and it was SO clear all day. Those little looks and special laughs are the moments we can’t get enough of! Congratulations again, Jessica and Michael! Your day was so special and we’re thrilled we were a part of it with you!
