Let’s just say it: COVID-19 has wrecked havoc on our lives and businesses, and has been a pain for those planning weddings this spring! But couples like Bonnie and David inspire me every day to keep moving forward – and remind me why we do what we do as a wedding photographer. Originally, Bonnie and David were going to be married at Izenstone. But, because of all of the restrictions in place, they were unable to. Instead, they moved their spring wedding to the summer. They then had a “signing day” to commemorate becoming husband and wife!
Alabama Wedding Signing Day
Bonnie and David chose to document the day they were legally married after signing their marriage certificate. With their family, the two signed their license and are now husband and wife!! It may have been the most interesting wedding we’ve photographed, but we’re so glad we could be there for our couple! The fact that Bonnie and David chose to be together, regardless of what’s going on around us, made me remember WHY we do what we do. Our job is about so much more than pretty pictures. It’s truly about capturing moments for years to come and preserving them forever. This is definitely a day we will all remember forever.
Bonnie and David, congratulations – you are officially married! We’re so glad we were able to be there for your signing day. We are really looking forward to your summer wedding, too! Thank you for reminding us to look at the big picture in the middle of this pandemic. And, for reminding us how important true love really can be. Congrats!!!
