A Fairhope, Alabama Engagement Session at Lucia Bleu Cottages

Whitney & Luke | A Fairhope, Alabama Engagement at Lucia Bleu Cottages

Whitney & Luke met us at Refuge Coffee in downtown Fairhope back in April. I really enjoyed getting to know them and hearing about their dream wedding day. They are from Houma, Louisiana and currently live in Baton Rouge. While deciding on a location for their wedding, they wanted a destination wedding but wanted to stay close enough for friends and family to come. Fairhope, Alabama was the winner. They love the charm of our little town and the venues that we have to offer. They are getting married next April at St. Francis at the Point and the reception will take place at Little Point Clear.

The engagement session…

We LOVE engagement sessions because that is when we really get to know a couple. It’s great – we get to learn about them as a couple. You can tell how much Whitney and Luke love each other by the way they interact. Whitney and Luke are an amazingly gorgeous couple and they rocked their engagement session. They are naturals and made our job easy!

The engagement session was perfect. We met for a sunrise engagement session since it’s so hot in June.  The temperature is so much more bearable in the morning. We started their engagement session at Lucia Bleu Cottages. It is a new, adorable BNB on the bluff in Fairhope. Lucia Bleu is 3 luxury cottages with beautiful southern oak and magnolias all over the property. It was the perfect location and provided a romantic atmosphere.

After Lucia Bleu, the next spots on our stop were the stunning oaks at Orange Street pier and we made a quick stop downtown. We were even able to talk Whitney’s sweet sister, Sydney, into jumping in for a few photos.
